Chapter One

It was a rainy month. The month just before December. It was 2 in the morning as the heavy rain came down on the city of Station Square. Everyone was sleeping, snoring probably. Apart from Sonic the Hedgehog, he was in front of a ruby small cute house. He hadn't been to Station Square in a while. When he found out Fiona was cheating on him, he just had to move. Worst of all, she used up his credit card so he was broke. He sighed as he pressed the doorbell. Still freezing from the rain. A cute pink hedgehog opened the door. She had long quills which were packed into a pony tail. She was wearing a baggy black sweater with pyjama shorts under. She rubbed her eyes, bringing out beautiful jade eyes. Sonic had never seen anyone so beautiful.

'Hello.' Sonic said shivering. The pink hedgehog was worried. 'Come in.' she said worriedly as he entered. 'I'm so sorry for coming like this.' he apologized as she smiled. 'It's cool.' she smiled as he smiled back. 'Um.. Let me get you a towel and you can sleep in the guest room okay?' she said as Sonic nodded. She was so nice for someone he woke up, he thought. She back with a blue towel as she gave it to him. 'Thank you.' he smiled as she smiled back.

'What's your name?' Sonic asked as the pink hedgehog smiled. 'Amy.' she said. 'Oh, nice to meet you Amy.' Sonic smiled. 'What's your name?' she asked him. 'Sonic.' he said. 'Nice to meet you Sonic.' she smiled as he smiled back. She was so nice. 'Um.. sorry to ask but why are you out here so late? Don't you have a home and stuff?' she asked him. Sonic sighed. 'It's a long story.' he said. 'I have time.' she smiled as Sonic laughed a bit.

'I used to live here until this girl called Fiona became by girlfriend. She decided to move to a different part of town and asked me to follow her. I did and we lived together for a while until our relationship starting going bumpy. All she ever talked to me about was shopping and my credit card. I went for run since I'm the fastest thing alive and all. I came back as I saw her making out with some green hedgehog. I was so disgusted. I broke up with her and she didn't care. She just told me she used up my credit card and now, I'm broke.' he explained as Amy hugged him.

Her hugs are so soft, he thought in a smile. 'Sorry, you could live here for a while.' she smiled as Sonic looked shocked. 'No, I possibly-' 'Trust me, I don't mind. I just moved here so I could need a couple of help with things.' she explained as Sonic smiled. 'Okay but I don't have clothes.' he sighed. She smiled. 'That's okay. My dad gave me some of his clothes before he passed away.' she said as Sonic looked at her. 'Oh, sorry.' he said as she smiled. 'It's okay.' she smiled as Sonic smiled. 'Come, let me show you the guest room.' she smiled as Sonic followed her. 

The guest room was quite nice. A small single bed in the middle of a cream painted room with a few tables and a bathroom. 'Thank you really.' Sonic smiled as Amy smiled back. 'Welcome. Do you need anything?' she asked. 'No thanks.' Sonic smiled. 'Okay Goodnight.' Amy smiled as she left and closed the door. Sonic took off his wet shirt and wet pants as he put them on the heater.

Luckily for him, his boxers weren't so wet so he could sleep in those. He crawled into the soft duvet and he laid down on the soft bed. 'Such a nice girl.' he thought. He did like here. But he did feel bad for coming here at two in the morning. He forgot all about Fiona. What had just happened. Amy was way better than her. Was he in love? He shrugged the thought as he fell asleep
